Life already has a semantic tree. Descent with modification. Common trunks, diverging branches, no leaves without lineage.
This hangs on Observation.
See on the treeBefore anyone drew a tech tree, biologists drew phylogenies. The shape is the same family: a trunk of common ancestry, branches that cannot skip their origins, leaves that only make sense in light of what they hang from.
This is a missing-branch repair. A knowledge tree that talks about civilization and never mentions evolution is pretending history began with writing. It did not.
The analogy is structural, not mystical. Genes are not techs. Selection is not a player researching Pottery. The shared form is: the present is constrained by the path that produced it.
