Myth & archetype

Recurring forms. Twelve as a menu, if you are joking. Twelve as a sky-story, if you are not.

This hangs on Language & writing, Consciousness.

Jung treated archetypes as inherited forms of experience, not scripts a player picked in a character creator, and not proof of a designer. Myth is how civilizations compress what they do not yet have equations for.

October 2024: Elon replies to a dismissal of astrology, “Unless we’re in a video game and there are only 12 personality types to choose from.” The sentence is a fork. Either astrology is, as the prompt said, ridiculous, or the containing world has a small roster, and the sky-stories are the UI.

This tree does not promote the second fork into astronomy. It documents the public sentence, and it lets MythEngine next door hold the game/myth question as a question.
